Terms of Use – Recording Studio Effective Date: [Insert Date] Location: Greenville, South Carolina By booking time, entering the studio, or using any services or equipment provided by our recording studio (“the Studio”), you agree to the following Terms of Use. 1. Booking & Payment All studio sessions must be booked in advance. A deposit may be required to confirm your session. Full payment is due at or before the end of each session unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late arrivals do not extend session time. 2. Cancellations & Rescheduling Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least [24/48] hours in advance. Failure to provide proper notice may result in forfeiture of your deposit or a cancellation fee. No-shows are charged the full session rate. 3. Studio Conduct Clients and guests must behave respectfully and professionally. The Studio reserves the right to end a session without refund if disruptive, unsafe, or illegal behavior occurs. Illegal drugs, weapons, and unlawful activities are strictly prohibited on the premises. 4. Equipment Use & Liability All studio equipment must be used properly and only as directed by studio staff. Clients are financially responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests. The Studio is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. 5. Recording Ownership & Rights Clients retain ownership of their original recordings once all balances are paid in full. The Studio retains the right to refuse services that infringe on copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws. The Studio may not distribute or use client recordings without written permission, unless otherwise agreed. 6. File Storage & Data Retention The Studio is not responsible for long-term storage of session files unless a storage agreement is in place. Clients are encouraged to bring their own storage devices and back up files immediately. Files may be deleted after [30/60/90] days without notice. 7. Guests & Capacity The number of guests allowed per session may be limited. Clients are responsible for the behavior of their guests at all times. 8. Health & Safety Clients must disclose any conditions that could pose a safety risk. The Studio reserves the right to refuse entry or service for health or safety reasons. 9. Limitation of Liability The Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the facility or services. Use of the Studio and its equipment is at your own risk to the fullest extent permitted by South Carolina law. 10. Termination of Services The Studio reserves the right to refuse or terminate services at its discretion, including for violation of these Terms of Use. 11. Governing Law These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. 12. Changes to These Terms The Studio reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the Studio constitutes acceptance of any changes.
